ROBERT E. DUNGAN
FOUNDER & SENIOR ATTORNEY
Robert has been practicing law for thirty-seven years, devoting his experience to Condominiums & Planned Communities, Home Owners Associations, Construction Law, Real Estate Law, Insurance Law, and Business Organizations & Contracts. He is primarily a litigation attorney but has a vast knowledge of business and corporate matters, including foreign businesses.
He was a member of the Drafting Committee for the North Carolina Planned Community Act in 1993-1995, and has published in the Journal of Commercial Bank Lending.
Robert has built his practice on the foundation of three words: Competence, Communication and Confidence. He adheres to the straightforward goal of providing legal services and solving his client’s legal problems. If necessary, he will engage in litigation to reach resolution of those problems. Robert has represented private individuals and small businesses as well as large companies. His long-standing reputation in the Asheville and Western North Carolina legal community has made him a popular choice for referrals of difficult cases by other lawyers. Robert is also a certified mediator.
Robert is a Veteran of the U.S. Army-Continental Command and U.S. Army in Vietnam, 1968-1970. He lives in Asheville, North Carolina, and is fluent in German and French. He also enjoys in-line hockey, banjo and guitar.
