Jeff is the Firm’s managing partner and a litigation attorney with over twenty years of experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, jury trials, and appeals. He is widely recognized for litigating all manner of real estate, construction, and contract cases, as well as representing lenders and other creditors in collection matters with aggressive and strategic advocacy.  In addition to his litigation practice, Jeff has extensive experience negotiating contracts, handling commercial real estate transactions, and providing general representation to businesses. He is a trusted advisor to numerous Homeowner and Condominium Associations earning recognition from his peers as a leader in this area of law.  

Born and raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Jeff takes pride in calling these mountains home. He is the son of a successful entrepreneur who built and owned several hotels and restaurants. Jeff practically grew up on construction sites which gave him a unique firsthand knowledge of construction industry and issues. Witnessing the struggles that small businesses face firsthand shaped his ability to understand and advise business clients effectively and efficiently.     

Since taking over as managing partner, Jeff has successfully navigated the Firm through a senior partner buyout, an office relocation, and a recent Firm merger. Through his leadership, the Firm continues to grow and expand. Jeff utilizes his experiences as managing partner to better relate to the problems of his business clients.
