Grace received her B.A. from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut in 2012. During law school, she became involved in the study and practice of yoga and subsequently pursued her teaching certification, which ultimately led her to Asheville. After relocating to Asheville in 2015, Grace became licensed to practice law in North Carolina and joined a small local firm, where she spent several years specializing in statewide property tax collection law. During her time there, she helped build the firm’s fledgling tax foreclosure department into a cornerstone of its practice, ultimately representing about a quarter of North Carolina’s county, town, and municipal tax foreclosure clients. From some of the most populated North Carolina counties to the smallest of towns, Grace enjoyed the process of getting to know each client’s unique needs and collaborating to achieve their goals. Additionally, she oversaw the firm’s title department, becoming experienced in title review and certification, and assisted with residential real estate closings and estate planning at the firm.
Grace then spent a year working at a large Asheville firm in the practice areas of land use, general litigation, and creditors’ rights, broadening her knowledge of the litigation process. Since joining Allen Stahl + Kilbourne in 2020, her practice expands on her work experience in land use, litigation, property law, and creditors’ rights.
A native of northwest New Jersey, Grace is also admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
