CHRISTOPHER G. LEWIS

ATTORNEY

Chris began his legal career in 1998 and has since handled cases from Murphy to Manteo.  Prior to moving to Asheville in 2010, Chris lived and worked in Raleigh, NC for state-wide litigation firms, where he had the opportunity to practice litigation throughout the state. Shortly after moving to Asheville, Chris decided to start his own solo practice focusing primarily on litigation matters related to real property, construction law, business and contract disputes, and personal injury.  In 2024, Chris joined Allen Stahl + Kilbourne to help expand the firm’s litigation practice.

While Chris is a litigator, he firmly believes in taking a proactive approach to representing clients to help them avoid litigation.  Chris uses his years of experience to assist clients in examining their needs and developing strategies to achieve the outcomes they deserve.  In addition to his litigation practice, Chris is a certified Superior Court mediator and regularly assists others in trying to resolve their disputes.

Raised in Greensboro, NC, Chris spent a lot of time in the mountains of western North Carolina growing up.  The Blue Ridge Parkway was one of his parents’ favorite places to visit, and Chris and his family have continued the tradition.  Chris is an active member of the Asheville Buncombe Adult Soccer Association and vows to keep playing until the wheels fall off.
